Arsenal will be feeling like a fish returned to water when they play at the Emirates stadium after that astounding 6-0 defeat against Chelsea. They got a relatively easy prey too. Swansea is no longer the ‘Swanselona’ of a couple of seasons ago. They have an attacking flair that is only occasionally fruitful. And they do not care a lot about defending. In other words, they are just about the ideal opponents for Arsenal at this juncture.

In spite of all the doomsday predictions surrounding Arsenal, they still have chances of even securing the title. They are seven points behind the table toppers Chelsea, but with a game in hand. They will have to improve their form drastically.

They have some tough games coming up after this – first against Manchester City and then against Everton. If they can come out of these matches without much damage, they will fancy their chances, as the other remaining games are what you can call low-hanging fruits.

Swansea fight for survival. They are four points away from relegation zone. They have not won a single one of their last five games. If the trend continues, they could face the danger of elimination.

Mesut Ozil, Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott are still injured. Tomas Rosicky too is a doubtful starter. But Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski should do the job for Arsenal. Wilfried Bony and Jonjo Shelvey will like to test the vulnerable Arsenal defence.
