Manchester United-Hull City betting preview
Manchester United welcome Hull City in a largely inconsequential premier league match on this Tuesday. United's defeat against Sunderland a couple of days ago punctured a popular belief emphatically: that David Moyes is the source of all of United's miseries. In the match against Sunderland, the team appeared, if anything, worse than during the Moyes regime.
Ryan Giggs will now have realized how easy the life as a winger was – speeding past midfielders and dribbling past defenders was far easier than motivating a bunch of aging stars.
Norwich's draw against Chelsea in the weekend took Hull City to a point of safety. They do not have to worry about relegation any more. They can now play freely and try to add themselves to the unusually long list of teams that have defeated Manchester United in this season.
For United too, this is a match to try out some new ideas and fresh faces. They still have a chance – albeit a theoretical one – to finish sixth and get a chance to play in the qualifying round of Europa League. For that to happen, not only they have to win their remaining two fixtures, but Tottenham must loss their last match too. At the moment, neither looks possible.
Wayne Rooney will be the most high profile absentee in the United starting eleven. Giggs could field a new look team, as their season winds to a halt.
Manchester United-Hull City Prediction
Nothing in Hull’s recent performances hints at an upset. But United have been generous hosts throughout the season, letting minnows boss them at their home ground.
