After disappointing draws against Cardiff and Tottenham, the Red Devils blew another game by missing a lot of goal scoring chances against Everton on Wednesday night, as they got sucker punched by Everton's Bryan Oviedo and ultimately lost a home game. Man Utd is missing their best forward, Robin van Persie who is sidelined with an injury and still remains a mystery whether he will even be on the bench in the upcoming game. Wayne Rooney is suspended after his 5th booking this season and won't play against Newcastle, putting another dent into Man Utd's loose offense. Not all is bad however, as United played good football against Everton, but were pretty unlucky in the scoring department. The game against Newcastle comes soon and Moyes' team will be eager to show that they are still in the game for the championship.
NEWCASTLE UNITED
Newcastle United has had a fantastic winning streak in November, snatching 4 wins out of four games. They were rudely grounded in a Wednesday 3-0 on the road defeat against Swansea. Their manager Alan Pardew blamed the referee Webb for his team's loss, defending his players. It was a surprising win for Swansea considering the previous fantastic form shown by Newcastle coming off from a 2-1 win against West Bromwich 4 days earlier. These recent results could indicate that some freshness is needed in the Newcastle team, but one look at the Newcastle bench and it is clear that no one could blame Pardew for sticking with his usual lineup.
