Roma-Milan betting preview
AC Milan face the toughest challenge to their late redemption in the Serie A when they take on Roma on this Friday. For the first time in the season, Milan have stitched up five wins in a row. They have not lost a match at home in this season. The in-form Milan poses a huge threat to that record.
Milan won the last season’s trip to the capital 4-2. And there have been three draws in their last six trips. Both their record at Stadio Olimpico and their recent form should make them confident of getting a positive result.
Their impressive recent form has made their European ambitions more realistic. They need to keep on winning to materialise a Europa League berth.
Milan’s misfiring stars are finding their rhythm slowly. Mario Balotelli and Adel Taarabt have regained their goal-scoring touch. Stephan El Shaarawy is set to make his comeback from a long injury-forced lay-off.
Roma has injury worries over Francesco Totti, Maicon, Mattia Destro and Kevin Strootman. Totti and Maicon may play in this fixture. If none of them play, Gervinho and Adem Ljajic will have to orchestrate the attack.
