Time of last goal betting
This is an interesting goal market where the punter is supposed to predict the period of the match in which the last goal will be scored within the 90 minutes of play, excluding extra-time or penalty shoot-outs.
Examples of selections offered in Time of Last Goal Betting include:
• Up to and including the 73rd minute;
• After the 73rd minute
• No Goal.
The odds offered in this market are often low like 10/11 or evens, though the No Goals selection has better odds. For instance, in the match between Liverpool and Crystal Palace, a bookie can offer the following odds for the available selections:
• Evens for the Last Goal being scored up to and including the 76th minute;
• 10/11 for the Last Goal being scored after the 76th minute
• 14/1 for no goal

For settlement purposes, the 76th minute is counted from 75 minutes to 75 minutes and 59 seconds. This implies that a bet placed on the first selection of “up to and including the 76th minute” is considered a winning bet even if the final goal is scored at 75 minutes and 57 seconds. However, any goal scored in the 76th minute, between 76 minutes and 76 minutes and 59 seconds, is considered a losing bet.
Basically, as long as there is at least one goal scored by either teams between the 1st and 76th minute, and no other goal is scored afterwards, the bets placed on the first selection win. If the only goal scored in the match occurs after the 76th minute, then bets placed on the second option win. A goalless match results in losing bets for all punters who selected the first two options, but a win for betters who placed their wagers on the third selection.
Own goals are included,eventhough goals disallowed by the referee will not be considered. If the match is abandoned or cancelled for any reason before the match is over, all bets are considered void.
