Harry Kane is the name Tottenham fans will think of when talking about the 2014/2015 season of the Premier League. He was, by far, their best attacker, who helped the Spurs win important points. However, there are lots of other players we must not forget, who gave a great effort to help the team end on the 5th place on the table.
Tottenham goal difference was far from impressive. They scored 58 goals while allowing 53, but the Spurs won several important games over the course of the season, which helped them to see rivals like Liverpool left behind, despite losing to them 3-0, which was one of the Spur’s biggest defeats of the season.
Despite having some very talented defenders, like Vertonghen and Dawson, or their goalkeeper, Lloris in their team, Tottenham allowed many goals to the much weaker sides. Both Leicester and Stoke scored 3 goals in the duels with Tottenham. Still, the Spurs knew how to fight back and outscore the opponents.
The biggest victory won by Tottenham in the 2014/2015 season was the one over Chelsea. The match was played at the Tottenham’s ground, the White Hart Lane and the final score was 5-3. In that game, apart from Harry Kane, who scored twice, Nacer Chadli played very well, scoring once and making one assist. Chadli was Tottenham’s best midfielder this season, although the player with the most assists in the team was Erik Lamela.
