Wolfsburg players were amazing in the attack, scoring 72 goals, which is the 2^nd-best score in the league.

Last time Wolfsburg was as strong as this season was back in 2008/2009 when they won the Bundesliga trophy. There aren’t many players from that season that are still in the club, with goalkeeper Diego Benaglio being the most important one. In 2014/2015, the key players of Wolfsburg were Kevin de Bruyne, Bast Dost, and in the second half of the season, Andre Shurrle, who came from Chelsea.

The 2014/2015 Bundesliga season was the best season of De Bruyne in his career so far. He was simply brilliant in every game, getting recognition from many experts as being the best midfielder currently in Germany. The Belgian playmaker scored 10 goals, second in the team only to Dost who had 6 more. However, De Bruyne became the ruler of Bundesliga when it comes to number of assists. He got 20 assists to his name, which is almost the double of the number of assists of the second on the list.
